About Me

I am a student at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in the the Graphic Design program and plan to graduate in Spring of 2012. In my spare time, I use art and papercrafting as a way to cool down from my crazy class schedule and refresh my creativity for another week of projects.

I consider myself a papercrafter because I split my time pretty evenly between cardmaking and scrapbooking (with a passion for stamping). I post at least one video tutorial a week up on my YouTube channel and on my blog focusing on a specific technique or process in the world of papercrafting. I also find joy in photogaphy, sewing, knitting, painting, drawing, and calligraphy.

My other interests include spending time with my family, friends, and pets, drinking a glass of white wine at the end of a long day, and watching movies and t.v. shows over and over. I also love my music- I’ll listen to anything from Hardcore Rap to Classical Piano, but my favorite artists are Regina Spektor, Ingrid Michaelson, Dashboard Confessional, Blink-182, Adele, Fall Out Boy, Paramore and Flyleaf. I’m not a huge fan of putting music players on websites, but if you ever are looking for some song or artist recommendations, you can just shoot me an e-mail.
