Young Crafters Unite Challenge #2 – Envelope to Match!

September 23, 2011

Hello lovelies. :) I’m super excited to share our second challenge for Young Crafters Unite. Starting today since it’s the 23rd, we have our new challenge up: Create an Envelope to Match your card!

Here’s my take on the challenge:

I’m obsessed with this stamp set from Hero Arts and Studio Calico lately. Heck, I’m obsessed with all of the new Studio Calico stuff. The paper is from the Autumn Press 6 by 6 pad. :)

Here’s a close-up of the card in all of it’s layered fun-ness:

And here’s a better look at the envelope, too. It’s pretty much that circle stamped over and over in Tea Dye ink to create a scalloped edge and then a circle of patterned paper cut down the middle to accent the name I’ll be writing on the card eventually. Simple but sweet!

I ALWAYS make an envelope to match. I make them when I make the card. Sometimes it is as simple as adding a couple strips of paper to the front but I love it.
    Thanks for sharing yours :D
