Simon Says… Sing a Song!

September 14, 2011

Wednesday means another Simon Says Stamp Challenge. This week, we’re singing songs and bringing you cards based off of songs. I was feeling a little Christmasy, so I went with “The Little Drummer Boy,” but you could go with many different things. How about “Singin’ in the Rain” for a cute rainy day card? That would be so adorable! Here’s my card for this week:

I just picked up Lawn Fawn’s new Pa-Rum-Pa-Pum-Pum and was eager to use it in conjunction with Cozy Christmas and the pine tree from Critters in the Forest. These stamp sets are totally meant to go together! Add in a little bit of that leftover wood flooring from this tutorial, and we have a perfect Christmasy scene.

So it’s really that easy! Just sit down and make a card inspired by a song that you know (maybe even the one that you’ve been singing all day…), and join us over at the challenge blog to upload your creation. Up for grabs is a fantastic gift certificate to the Simon Says Stamp store thanks to the wonderful Heidi!

See you over at the Simon Says Stamp challenge blog for more inspiration and fun! Thanks so much for stopping by today.Only two more real days left this week, then it’s time for friends and scrappy-ness at Scrapfest at the Mall of America this weekend. I can’t wait!
