Here’s the card I created for this week’s challenge:

I’ve been having fun with Hero Hues layering papers this week. I love how the white core provides awesome contrast when you sand it down. Awesome!

    Ohh nice! I just love all the elements you have here, the twine, the button, the banner, the polka dots! My goodness. That white core card stock is very cool. Maybe I can find some time to play along with the challenge this week! Thanks for the inspiration!

    Love your shaped card! When is the deadline to submit for this challenge? I didn’t see it listed on the Simon Says blog.

      The deadline is next Tuesday at midnight (eastern time, I believe). You can tell by the counter on the bottom of the inlinkz widget. I hope you have some time to enter! We would love to have ya. :)

    I love the distressed polka dots! And how in the world did you get the twine to stay put on the circle? I would have spent too much time fighting w it and I would have lost!

    Love the card, what envelope would you use for shaped cards?

      I just use a regular card envelope. If I’m worried about it bending, a throw a piece of scrap cardstock in there that’s the size of a regular size card. :) Hope that helps!

    Love this card! I love the circle shape and the sanding you did on the dots. And you even did a little stitching on the card!
