Video Tutorial Monday 36: Clean and Simple Card with Scoring

May 16, 2011

It’s Monday, and today I’m motivated to kick some butt and take some names. Or rather, cross things off my to-do list. I have an entire huge pile of clothes that don’t need to be in my room anymore (everything will be either donated, thrown away or saved for sentimental reasons), I’m determined to get our dryer fixed if it means physically chasing down my landlord and I have some design work that I have to do today for an independent study that I’m doing. So before I get running and leave my computer behind in my dust, I figured I should post this week’s VTM. It’s simple and clean… not exactly my usual style, but I like it nonetheless. Here’s the card for today:

This card is mainly about using my Martha Stewart Scoring Board for the main emphasis. Super quick, easy and fun. I hope you give something like this a try soon!

Here’s the video for today. Sorry, no crazy kitty appearances this week. Maybe next time ;)

Supplies: Cardstock – Papertrey Ink (Sweet Blush), Stamps – Papertrey Ink (Year of Flowers: Roses) and Hero Arts (CL520 Live & Laugh), Ink – Ranger (Jenni Bowlin Studios ink in Spice Tin and Chewing Gum), Scoring Tool – Martha Stewart Scoring Board, Pearls – Hero Arts (Small Hero Hues Pearls), White Pen – Uni-ball Signo White.

Off to get my mile-long to-do list started! I’m hoping that I can get my million and one things done before my plane takes off on Friday morning. Whew. It’s going to be a long week. Good thing there’s Florida + a Mickey ears-shaped light at the end of this tunnel.

Love,
Britta
